Simulated Body Fluid (SBF) is a metastable solution, a supersaturated solution of apatite containing calcium ions and phosphate ions. It is widely used in the evaluation of bioactive materials in vitro and can form bone-like apatite. This reagent is only used in the field of scientific research.
